A RETREAT FOR GAY AND LESBIAN CATHOLICS AND OTHER CHRISTIANS
Jesuit Spirituality Center, Grand Coteau, Louisiana
Each person, including lesbian and gay persons, are truly gifted and truly called in God's wondrous design. The retreat will offer the invitation to to break through the obstacles we experience as we discover and affirm our gift and call to be sources of healing, hope, and community for others. The retreat will include reflection shared by the retreat leaders, opportunity for private time, small group sharing, healing prayer together and Sunday Eucharist.
The retreat leaders are Father Jim Schexnayder, priest of the diocese of Oakland, California, a native of Lafayette, Louisiana, and resource director for the Catholic Association for Lesbian and Gay Ministry and Sister Carol Mayes, director of the Dominican Spirituality Center in Houston, Texas.
Fee $220 (commuters $160)
